Got a ring from Essex but the voice sounded Indian, like it was through some VOIP service. Like loads of others have said, I don’t get why there’s no way to stop this stuff. I rang my bank and they said nothing's been taken from my account, but when I gave them the phone number to look into, they didn’t really care. Action Fraud only steps in if you’ve lost cash to a scam, so they don’t seem bothered about stuff that might be fraud.
