Got a call from 01277509011 today 13/03/2021 around 14:44. Let the phone ring a bit, then used 1471 to check the number. Looking at the reviews, it’s clearly a scam. When I’m feeling cheeky, I play along for a bit before telling them to bugger off. If the caller has an Indian accent, I tell them in their own words to ‘go enjoy time with their mum’ and it usually ends the call quite fast. Picked up those phrases from the web!

Got a call from a bloke from India who somehow knew my postcode, saying my washing machine warranty had run out and asked if I wanted to renew for a year. I decided to humour him and kept him on the line for about 10 minutes. Then he switched me to a woman, so I carried on chatting with her for another 10 minutes. Afterwards, I gave her a piece of my mind - no idea why she just cut me off after that! Nonetheless, my washing machine’s still working fine and the warranty’s all good too.
