We only gave our landline number to three folks - my elderly mum and dad, plus my aunt. So when I picked up and the caller just hung up straight away, it was really frustrating. We kept the landline just for them, and even changed the number to try and avoid these scammy cold calls, but it seems to make no difference. Proper annoying!
