I've picked up the phone for what feels like the hundredth time this month. The person on the line inquired if they were speaking to Mr Elder. I couldn't help but chime in with, "Good morning, Scammers!" That really set them off, and they started hurling abuse, claiming they’d managed to breach my bank account and drain it completely! 😂 After a bit of back and forth, they eventually ended the call.

This number kept ringing me up like 6 times every single day. One day I finally picked up and asked them to stop calling me. The bloke on the line, with an Indian accent, got really rude and told me to basically bugger off! He said something like, "How dare you tell me not to call you?" When I said I wasn't interested in buying anything, he just started shouting loads of insults. Needless to say, I've blocked him now.

Been getting these calls nearly every hour lately. Finally, a bloke named Daniel picked up today. Claimed he worked for a firm called U Benefit. Told me he was calling from overseas but the company was said to be in Birmingham. He gave me a postcode, NP2 5AX, which is actually not in use around Newport. When I asked for the full address and the name of the CEO, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from a guy who said his name was Sam and claimed to be from Platignum supermarkets. When I asked what the call was about, he said he just wanted to ask a couple questions and it wouldn’t take up much time. I told him I wasn’t interested in random calls like that and asked him to stop. I then hung up. Honestly, these calls are really annoying, they seem to ring almost every day. It’s clear to me it’s some sort of scam trying to fish for bank info. The first time I reported the number I thought it was just annoying harassment, but now I reckon they could be dangerous.

But honestly, it’s just a trick to get your bank info if you go along with them, and next thing you know, your money's gone. These lot are total scammers! They ring from a new number daily, so I’ve had to block this one and every other they use. If you’ve got caller ID, just don’t pick up if the number isn’t familiar. They tend to send automated calls first to see if someone picks up. When you do answer and there’s silence, it’s probably a robot, and later you might get a call back from the same or a different number trying to trick you. Best to stay well clear of these scammers!
