Some bloke rang me claiming he was checking up on my solar panels. He went on about how it needs an annual inspection from a certified electrician. I asked him why he cared and told him it sounded like a con. Next thing he started getting rude, telling me off for doubting him and then just hung up with a “good morning”. Strange call, honestly.

A woman called claiming she was ringing from the business that installed my solar panels, but she wouldn’t share the company’s name even after saying they gave her my info. I told her politely she didn’t really know anything and ended the chat. I’ve had similar calls before offering to check if the solar panels are working fine. I ended up calling my provider myself, and they said they had no connection with that at all.
