I keep receiving calls from this particular number repeatedly from the crack of dawn, right through to the evening. It's always the same - either they’re after someone completely unrelated or they hang up the moment I pick up. If I try returning the call, there's no mention of a company name, but I can hear a racket in the background. Honestly, it's becoming quite infuriating!

I received an unsolicited call from this number claiming to be from Energy Care Ltd or something along those lines. The lady initially came across as rather pleasant, inquiring about my wellbeing and positing that they were reaching out regarding Home Energy Savings and whatnot. I politely informed her that I wasn't interested and noted that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service. In a surprising twist, she insisted it wasn't a cold call since they were informing me about government grants. I clarified that I hadn't solicited their call, hence, in my view, it categorically was a cold call. At that point, her tone took a sharp turn, and she told me to “bugger off” before abruptly hanging up. It's remarkable how quickly some people’s demeanour shifts when they realise the sale isn't happening!
