8 yearsGot a few calls from some dodgy lot claiming I’m overpaying £7 a month on my TV insurance and that they can sort it for just £5. These blokes keep ringing, probably from somewhere in South Asia. I like to mess about with them, crack out my worst Indian accent like Peter Sellers, sayin’ stuff like, "So you telling me I can get a telly for just five quid? What sort of telly you got? I want a smart one, yeah?" Keeps them busy anyway!8 yearsGot two calls from this number just a few minutes apart, but there was total silence on the other end. After hanging up, I checked my caller ID by dialling 1471, but the line stayed busy for a while. Finally, I was able to see their number.8 yearsThis bloke called about my TV maintenance plan, talking in what sounded like an Indian accent and said his name was Mark. When I asked him how he got my details, he just hung up on me straight away without a word. Proper suspicious behaviour if you ask me.Mark8 yearsGot a call from 01277 215677, this bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT's technical team. I told him I wasn’t really up for random calls from BT, so I just said no thanks and hung up.British TelecomBT8 yearsGot a call from someone trying to sell me insurance on a telly which I’m supposedly already paying for. He kept saying I could save cash but then asked for my bank info. Didn’t even know what brand the telly was, then just ended the call on me. Really dodgy behaviour.8 yearsGot a random call, but as soon as their voicemail started, I hung up straight away.8 yearsI got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent about some TV deal. Thing is, I don’t even own a telly, so I was pretty baffled. Didn’t really catch what he wanted, then out of nowhere he told me to just hang up.
