I got a call from 0127711010trung, the person just kept breathing into the phone and then cut off without saying a word.

This bloke claimed to be from BT, offering to help me eliminate those pesky nuisance calls. However, he had the typical ring of a scammer about him. Apparently, they wanted to send a device to connect to my phone to register me with TPS. He even knew my address, which was a bit concerning. He mentioned he’d transfer me to his supervisor, but I cut him off, saying I’m already registered with TPS and suggested they give me a call later. If this were genuinely from BT, I’d recommend they hire staff who sound a bit more trustworthy!

I had to wait ages for the call to go through, and when it finally did, all I got was a weird electronic sound before it just cut off! What on earth?

I just got a call claiming to be from the telephone preference service trying to sell me a call blocker. Total scam, the TPS would never ring you up trying to sell anything. Watch out for these dodgy calls.
