Got a call from a lady with a foreign accent who actually knew my name. She said my washing machine insurance was nearly up for renewal. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

ive had calls from these lot saying theres an issue with ipa on my laptop, then they try to get remote access. after that they start demanding money, sometimes like 400 quid or even more. total scam!
