Got a call about a CCJ but I have no clue what they're talking about.

Just got a call out the blue about clearing a CCJ that isn’t even on my records. Wonder if they’ve been digging through court data and spotted an attempt to get a judgment that never went through. So there’s no CCJ to clear up at all. Their approach seemed a bit shifty, honestly. Wouldn’t bother with this kind of sketchy cold call.

I found this a complete waste of time tbh. If someone really had a CCJ against you, they wouldn't be shouting about it over the phone. You'd receive an official letter from the court or a solicitor or something along those lines. Just thought I’d say, been around the block with these calls before.
