I got a call from someone with a strong Asian accent, and there was loads of noise in the background which made it hard to catch what he was saying. I caught something about a 30% discount on some product, but it all felt very robotic, like he was stuck on a loop of a script. Received a rather dodgy phone call earlier from someone claiming to be from O2, trying to entice me with some supposed discount on my account (which I don’t even possess, so I clocked it as a scam straight away!). The caller mentioned I’d be getting two text messages from him, which indeed landed in my inbox. One of the texts contained a so-called “code” to supposedly access my My O2 account. I’ve no idea what their next move would’ve been as I decided to end the call, despite his insistence for me to remain on the line.
