Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying my router had been compromised. He tried to get me to log into my computer. Scammers are definitely getting cleverer these days. It’s quite intimidating because if they think you’re catching on or not falling for it, they can turn quite pushy and even a bit nasty. This sort of thing is especially worrying for older folks who might not be too familiar with tech.
