Sounds like a robo voice, maybe some sort of bot pretending to be from BT tech support. It told me my internet would be shut down in a day because they spotted hacking on my IP. Asked me to hit certain buttons on the phone, but I knew it was dodgy. Having a tape wouldn’t have done much anyway, seemed all fake to me.

Got a robocall claiming it was TalkTalk telling me my service was being cut off starting today. Ended the call right away.
