Got a call early, something like 7.45 in the morning. Caller said they were from BT, but it was a guy with an Indian accent and I couldn’t really get what he was saying. He was trying to get me to open my laptop. I just ended the call. Then he phoned back from 01252 675727 saying I shouldn’t have cut him off. I just hung up again.

These people called me pretending they were from BT, trying to get access to my computer. I wasted their time by keeping them on the line, then finally told them to bugger off. Happened here in Norwich.

Absolute rip-off, nothing to do with BT at all. They come up with all sorts of rubbish just to trick you into giving them access to your computer, then they nick all your personal details. Watch out!

This number keeps ringing, some bloke with an Indian accent pretending to be from BT. Total scam, they’re trying to hack into your computer. Best just to block and forget about it. Don’t answer or you’ll be in a right mess.
