i got a call from someone who sounded like they were from india, saying they were from bt. when i told them we don’t have bt, she insisted our provider was linked with bt, which i'm pretty sure isn't true. i just hung up. this isn’t the first time we’ve had calls like this.

This number rang my phone yet again, but when I answered, there was absolutely no one on the line. I can’t imagine how unsettling this might be for someone who’s elderly, easily scared, or just generally anxious. It’s really quite worrying.
