I received a text from BT via phone, warning me that unless I contacted them earlier today, someone would be dispatched to my address. Curious, I searched for this number and discovered it actually belongs to a company looking for someone with a different surname on a road with a similar name in my area, which they clearly struggled to locate! After reaching out to BT, they informed me that this number has garnered an abundance of complaints.

What’s the deal with these constant calls? I haven’t a clue who they are, and I’ve had no business with them whatsoever. It’s quite bothersome, to say the least! I’d really like them to cease calling me. They’ve become a right nuisance! Any advice on how I might put an end to these unwanted calls?

I just had a rather unsettling phone call claiming it was from a debt collection agency. The thing is, I don’t owe anyone a penny and I’ve not seen any of their correspondence. They even tried to intimidate me when I refused to share my address! My advice? Do not divulge any personal details. Instead, I recommend looking them up on the Martin Lewis website - there's some fascinating information to be found there.

Utterly appalling conduct, if you ask me. The audacity! They were quite forceful, insisting I respond to their so-called security queries - no chance! They accused me of having an unpaid debt - which is absolutely not the case. And then came the ominous threats of legal action; I simply told them I’m quite eager to see any correspondence they might send my way. I truly pity those who fall victim to such calls, particularly those who might be in a more fragile situation… this nonsense must cease immediately!
