I received a text from BT via phone, warning me that unless I contacted them earlier today, someone would be dispatched to my address. Curious, I searched for this number and discovered it actually belongs to a company looking for someone with a different surname on a road with a similar name in my area, which they clearly struggled to locate! After reaching out to BT, they informed me that this number has garnered an abundance of complaints.

Why do they keep calling me? I’ve never had anything to do with them and don’t know who they are. It’s so annoying, they just won’t stop! They’re a complete nuisance. Does anyone know how I can block them from calling me again?

Got a call from some people claiming I owed money, which isn’t true at all. They said they’d sent letters but I never got anything. They started threatening me on the phone when I refused to tell them my address. Definitely don’t share your details with them. I looked them up on the Martin Lewis site and there’s some pretty eye-opening info about this sort of thing.

This is just terrible. They came on really pushy, kept insisting I confirm personal details - no chance I’m giving any info! They claimed I owed money, which is rubbish. Then they started threatening court and stuff. I told them I’ll wait and see if they send me anything in writing. Honestly, I feel for anyone, especially elderly or vulnerable folks, dealing with these calls. They really need to be stopped.
