01276 421209 - I just received a rather ridiculous phone call today, which was supposedly about me being caught using my mobile whilst driving. I missed the call because I was out and about, but when I got home and checked the voicemail, I found out the entire thing was a jape! At the end, it declared that I had been pranked, or that the call wasn't genuine at all. For anyone out there, steer clear of this number; they’re trying to get you to settle a penalty that you haven’t even incurred!

Got a recorded voice on prankdial[###]. You can stop your number from being shown there tho. A guy going on about me having his WiFi - heard that same thing before so I knew who it was right off.

They called me at midnight, woke me up in a total panic. They rang a few more times at 12:03 and 12:05 but I didn’t pick up. Honestly, glad I ignored it.

I received a call from this number claiming to be my next-door neighbour, which I found odd since I recognised the voice as completely artificial. It definitely had that robotic tone to it!

Received a call from 0151 253 1941 and the person on the line kept saying they couldn’t hear me properly, kept asking “are you there?” Then they weirdly mentioned they couldn’t reveal who they were but claimed they’d been observing me for ages. I ended the call, but then they rang back from 01276 421209 repeating the same stuff, saying they’d been watching me and complimented me saying I looked gorgeous.

i got a call from someone who sounded like an elderly man, kept asking if i was “still there” and kept yelling it over and over. then he called me back from a different number and done the same thing again.

Got a call from a foreign guy saying I’d put in an order for 20 pizzas but he couldn’t locate my address. He was asking me to pay up straight away and give him my address. I just hung up.

Got a call from someone saying he was bringing a pizza but couldn't locate my address. He sounded a bit stressed like he wanted me to hurry up and tell him where to drop it off so he could leave. I told him I didn’t order any pizza and when he kept pushing, I just nicely ended the call.

Some bloke just started shouting at me, accusing me of leeching off his wifi. He claimed he knew my number and where I live, and threatened to have me arrested before hanging up on me.

Some strange guy kept saying he was gonna find me and have me nicked. Then kept calling me an old rat over and over. Not very funny as a "prank" if you ask me. My anxiety about this stuff is bad enough without that nonsense.

Got a call from 012764201209, this bloke had an accent and claimed he was from HMRC saying we needed to file a tax return. I asked for the client’s name since we’re accountants, but he wouldn’t say it. I just stopped responding and he kept saying hello, hello, can you hear me? so I ended up hanging up.

Got a call from someone shouting all kinds of threats, sounded like they were from up north.

I've received calls from the same individual who seemed to think he could fool me with unrelated nonsense. At one point, he posed as a doctor, then as an Amazon delivery driver, and even claimed I had bumped into his vehicle-something that was simply not true! On another occasion, he tried to pass himself off as an insurance representative. It’s quite evident that this chap is nothing but a con artist!

So, this same individual called me, convinced that I had somehow damaged his vehicle. It seems he was trying to pull a fast one regarding my insurance-painting himself as an Amazon delivery driver, no less! Today, I received yet another call from him, this time waffling on about Argos card details which I definitely don’t possess. Does he not know when to quit? Honestly, he must be one of the most relentless fraudsters I've ever encountered!

Got a call from some bloke accusing me of ringing his missus in the dead of night and telling me nobody fancies me. I just stayed cool and told him I’m a charming, groovy guy and loads of people do want me. He shut up pretty quick after that. What a numpty.

A dodgy bloke rang me from this number whilst I was deep into a session of GTA 5. I picked up, thinking it might be my employer. But it turned out to be some overly assertive chap, sounding a bit like a copper, if I’m honest. He had the gall to grill me about whether I had any Gucci or other designer threads, to which I replied, "Not a chance, I’m skint!" He then went on about having suspicions that I’d been downloading films and music and insisted that I needed to be straight with him. I denied it, and he decided to mention setting up a meeting before abruptly going silent. Quite the odd encounter, really!
