Got a recorded voice on prankdial[###]. You can stop your number from being shown there tho. A guy going on about me having his WiFi - heard that same thing before so I knew who it was right off.

Received a call from 0151 253 1941 and the person on the line kept saying they couldn’t hear me properly, kept asking “are you there?” Then they weirdly mentioned they couldn’t reveal who they were but claimed they’d been observing me for ages. I ended the call, but then they rang back from 01276 421209 repeating the same stuff, saying they’d been watching me and complimented me saying I looked gorgeous.

Got a call from someone saying he was bringing a pizza but couldn't locate my address. He sounded a bit stressed like he wanted me to hurry up and tell him where to drop it off so he could leave. I told him I didn’t order any pizza and when he kept pushing, I just nicely ended the call.

Got a call from 012764201209, this bloke had an accent and claimed he was from HMRC saying we needed to file a tax return. I asked for the client’s name since we’re accountants, but he wouldn’t say it. I just stopped responding and he kept saying hello, hello, can you hear me? so I ended up hanging up.

Got a call from someone shouting all kinds of threats, sounded like they were from up north.

I got a load of calls from this one person who kept chattting rubbish and pretending to be different people. Once they said they were an amazon delivery driver, another time they claimed I’d crashed into their car which obviously wasn’t true, and on a different call they pretended to be from an insurance company. I’m pretty sure it was a proper scammer trying to trick me.

I’ve had the same bloke phoning me nonstop, he was convinced I’d damaged his car and was trying to scam me about my insurance. He was acting like an Amazon delivery guy at first. Just got another call today about my Argos card details, which I don’t even have! Does this guy never quit? Honestly, he’s gotta be one of the biggest scammers I’ve come across.

Got a call from some bloke accusing me of ringing his missus in the dead of night and telling me nobody fancies me. I just stayed cool and told him I’m a charming, groovy guy and loads of people do want me. He shut up pretty quick after that. What a numpty.

He was going on about whether I owned any Gucci or other posh designer gear. I told him nah, I’m skint, haha. Then he started accusing me of downloading movies and music illegally and wanted me to be truthful. I told him I hadn’t done any of that, and then he said he’d arrange a meeting but just went quiet after that.
