I picked up straight away but the person on the other end just ended the call immediately.

My elderly neighbour who has dementia got a call from these people claiming he’d somehow signed up for call blocking. It was really upsetting for him. I tried to call them back, but the number looked totally dodgy and I couldn’t make sense of it. Proper stressful situation.

However, they were unaware that I’d already opted out of their offerings a few years back. They tried to persuade me into making a one-time payment, which I firmly rejected, explaining that I now possess a phone with call blocking capabilities.

i keep getting calls from this ‘home safety division’ lot, the number shows up as Camberley but i found out they shifted and re-registered in Bournemouth about a year ago. their website looks dodgy and there’s warnings about phishing. for like 2 years now they’ve been pushing me to pay for some ‘call blocking’ service, total pain!
