This month I’ve been getting loads of calls claiming to be from Amazon Prime. It was usually a recorded voice of an American lady. Since I don’t have an Amazon Prime subscription, I suspected it was a scam straight away. One time, it was a real bloke on the other end, so I told him to leave me alone and that it was obviously a scam. He insisted it wasn’t, but I just ended the call anyway.

Got a robo call saying something about renewing my Amazon Prime. Problem is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime myself. My son’s the one with it, but he lives elsewhere and only uses his phone, never calls our landline. The message asked me to press a button if there was an issue, which I didn’t do. I did put the number through your site after looking it up though. Feels like a scam to me, especially with Black Friday coming up. Hopefully, folks double-check so they don’t get scammed out of their cash.
