Some bloke saying he was Eric Morrison called me, but he had a really obvious South Asian accent even though he claimed his mum was Czech and his dad Japanese when I asked about his name. He said he was from the visa debit fraud team and needed to check my device’s IP address to 'secure' it. Claimed I’d made a payment of £399.99 but couldn’t tell me who to. He then gave me this number 0804 035 5336 to ring back later, but I fibbed and said my husband was at work with my laptop. I knew straight away it was a scam but just kept him on the line for a bit.

Somebody rang me today, but I just let it go to voicemail. I've received about four calls from different numbers this week, but after they ring once, I block them straight away. This one was from a different number, but the other three have been listed on this website before. I don’t pick up, yet they keep ringing. If they found proper work, they'd probably stop bothering folks with these scams.
