Here we go again with the same old nonsense about the broadband being cut. You've got the option to press one for tech assistance or two if you fancy ending the call. Anyway, I've blocked the number now.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Virgin, insisting that my broadband service would be terminated shortly. They didn't just stop there; I've also been bombarded with messages warning me that my internet connection is set to be cut off in the next four hours. I've decided it's best to block this number immediately—it's clearly a scam!

This number has been ringing me daily, and they’ve already tried twice this morning without so much as a voicemail. It’s starting to feel really bothersome.

Received a call at precisely 09:52 this morning, claiming that our internet connection would be unavailable for an hour and prompting us to press a button… you know the sort. Total scam! I just hung up there and then.

I barely managed to catch the call – missed it just as I reached for my phone. It’s probably for the best, to be honest.

Received a recorded call both today and yesterday claiming that my internet connection is about to be terminated. I really wish I could have spoken to the numpties behind these calls, but they just disconnected on me.

Received a call from 01275848303, an automated voice informed me that my broadband is down and that I need to request a new router to avoid disconnection in four hours. Claimed to be from BT. Honestly, these scammers need to take a hike!

I received a recorded announcement about the router being switched off in four hours. Didn't pay it any mind!

Had another dodgy call this morning at 9am – that's the fourth one I’ve received in just a matter of weeks. They claimed to be from my internet provider and threatened to cut off my broadband. I didn’t bother engaging and just hung up. Is there any chance this number can be tracked and put a stop to these nuisances?

I received two calls yesterday and yet another one today. It's clearly a scam, and they were not pleased when I pointed it out.

Received a call from an individual claiming to represent BT Technical Support, but something felt off. Definitely a scammer! I've since blocked their number.

I'm absolutely fed up with this number calling me (it's happened four times today alone)! Each time, there’s a load of background racket, but no one on the other end engages. I attempted to return the call to 01275 848303, but it just goes to a message saying it's "not available". Quite frustrating, really!

I had an absolute barrage of calls yesterday—seven to be precise—and just this morning, at 7:52 am, I received yet another. The first call appeared to be from a local number, 01275, so I thought I’d take a chance. What a mistake! I was greeted by a woman with a distinctly Indian accent, amid what sounded like chaos on her end. She was probing me about our broadband service, but I quickly cut her off and hung up. After that, the floodgates opened with subsequent calls showing up as international, even though they originated from the same number. The later calls kept fluctuating between appearing as international or just the number itself. Now we’re wise to their tactics, so we’re letting the answerphone pick up instead. It’s quite frustrating, really, that our home phone lacks a call-blocking feature like our mobiles do. What a nuisance! 05.05.18

I've received four calls from this number today, claiming that my router is malfunctioning and supposedly downloading faulty files. They kept addressing me as 'M'am,' which I found rather annoying. I did my best to ask them nicely (if you can believe that) to stop calling me. But honestly, I doubt they’ll take any notice!

Received a call from a woman named "Amy," claiming to represent BT, but I could barely discern her voice amid the noise. Sounds like a right con job to me!

Just had a call from these chaps about an hour back, and they've decided to ring me again, claiming to be from BT. Some fella named Jack Watson with an accent that sounded Indian! My husband was having none of it and told them to clear off.

I received three phone calls yesterday, and today, I finally engaged with them. They claimed to be from Virgin, insisting there was an issue with my router. They requested that I access my laptop, but I clarified that I didn't possess any sort of computer. They hung up instantly. The person on the call sounded Asian. Absolute scam!

I received a call from a lady named "Amy," who claimed to be with BT. Unfortunately, the noise in the background made it really tough to catch what she was saying. Made me quite suspicious – clearly, a scam!

I received a rather dubious call from a so-called "gentleman" claiming to be from Sky broadband, insisting that my internet connection had been compromised. He urged me to fire up my laptop. When I quizzed him on my address, he provided details that were completely off, and when I asked for my name, he couldn’t even get that right. Realising it was nothing more than a scam, I informed him of my suspicion, which prompted him to hurl some rather rude insults my way. At that point, I decided it was best to terminate the call altogether.

The individual who rang was hurling abusive language at the recipient, seemingly baiting them for a reaction. This has created a rather distressing atmosphere in our workplace, causing my team to deliberately steer clear of picking up the phone. It seems to happen around the same time every morning!

It seems they must have had an epiphany, as they claimed to be a novice today, and funnily enough, it was a woman this time.

I received three calls from this number on Saturday, January 27, and then again on Monday, January 29. When I tried to return the call on January 30, I got a notification saying the number was no longer in service. Fingers crossed it's been put on the blacklist now.

It seems like they've picked up a few choice phrases... When I picked up the phone, there was this individual with a Caribbean twang who just kept hurling 'F*ck off, you b**ch' at me. Quite the greeting, wouldn't you say?

I've recently made it a habit to check the number that calls my phone. If it’s unfamiliar, I simply let it ring. Afterward, I take a moment to search for that number on my laptop. It’s proven to save me a great deal of trouble. Cheers for the tip!

They've rung us six times today already! At times, a person speaks and claims there's a critical issue with our internet connection, while other moments it's just some blaring radio. More often than not, it's just a cacophony in the background before they abruptly cut off. What a nuisance!

??FRAUD ALERT?? Received a call from this number in the wee hours today! It's high time BT took action to prevent some unsuspecting individual from falling victim to these con artists!

Received a call from this number just after eight on a Saturday morning. I didn't pick it up in time and, considering the feedback from others, opted not to return the call. It's quite strange, really, since we've only recently been given a fresh number by BT. I can't help but wonder if BT are offloading new numbers to scammers like these. It’s utterly ridiculous, isn’t it?

It's utterly ridiculous that BT permits such numpties and time wasters to infiltrate our network. Surely, there must be some kind of workaround to redirect them into a black hole of sorts—something that would send their systems spiralling into chaos!

I've received numerous calls from this same number lately. On some occasions, they claim to be from BT Technical support, urging me to power up my broadband and computer to resolve an issue on my line. Other times, it’s just a confusing chatter from a call centre that ends abruptly. I can't recall a day without at least one call from them, and if they're taking notes on my responses, they’ve undoubtedly acquired a veritable lexicon of expletives!

Exactly like my previous update, but when I dialled 1572, it didn’t connect. I ended up contacting BT and they informed me it’s a scammer posing with a false identity, and the number is actually linked to a residential property.

Infuriatingly incessant phone calls, this is the second time today! Not a soul bothers to utter a word, just an obnoxious call centre buzzing with chatter in a foreign tongue. Honestly, these nefarious individuals ought to be apprehended and dealt with accordingly!

I've been facing a similar issue myself. On Saturday, 10th December 2016, I was jolted awake by a call at 8:15 in the morning, and wouldn't you know it, the same thing happened this morning, Monday the 12th, right at the same hour! Being disabled makes it quite challenging for me to reach the phone, so you can imagine how frustrated I was.

I too had a call from this number, claiming that my computer had been compromised and urging me to switch it on immediately. I've received a couple of calls over the last couple of days from a gentleman speaking with a noticeable foreign accent, claiming to represent TalkTalk. I'm absolutely baffled – just had a chap on the line claiming to be from TalkTalk, insisting there was an issue with my computer's wiring. Naturally, I hung up on him. Received a call from this number at 8 o'clock this morning. I chose not to pick up. Upon reviewing my messages, I found one left behind which simply said "goodbye" in a robotic tone. If TalkTalk doesn't sort this out, I’ll be quite cross. They had a data breach approximately a year ago, and this could very well be linked to those pesky phishing attempts still taking advantage of that situation.
