Approximately a year ago, we engaged this company for a lovely cottage in St Ives. To say it was a letdown would be an understatement-the place was shockingly overpriced and in a state of disrepair. The individual claiming to be Mr. Yates, the owner, was utterly insufferable and quite unhelpful, ultimately spoiling what was meant to be a wonderful family holiday. We encountered issues like having no hot water, and when we raised our concerns, we were advised to either contact a plumber ourselves or take a dip in the sea instead! Steer clear of booking with these charlatans. They may tout themselves as 'great gaffs', but frankly, they’re more like dreadful dives that will ruin your holiday experience.

A year back, we decided to book a cottage through this company for our holiday in St Ives. Honestly, it was a rather disappointing experience. The place was far too expensive for what it was - quite dilapidated, to be frank. The chap who claims to be the owner, Mr Yates, was utterly intolerable and rather full of himself. Instead of being helpful, he just added to our frustrations, which ended up spoiling our family escape. We had no hot water, and when we raised our concerns, his suggestion was to either call a plumber ourselves or take a dip in the sea! I’d strongly recommend steering clear of this lot if you value your holiday. What they tout as lovely accommodations felt more like a right flop and could well ruin your getaway.
