I received a call from someone with a distinctly African accent, chattering away in a language I couldn't grasp. It was rather odd, as he seemed to be chuckling throughout the conversation. In the background, I could hear what sounded like a busy call centre ambiance. Rather than engaging, I allowed him to continue his merry ramblings until he eventually hung up. I've now blocked the number.

I heard some chap with a rather suspect American twang prattling on about how 121 Utilities and their partner, Shell Energy, are providing completely green energy. Utter nonsense! The truth is that "121 Utilities" operates as a standalone energy broker, completely unaffiliated with Shell. It’s all a bit dodgy, if you ask me – sounds like a proper con to me!
