Got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon Prime, telling me I'd signed up for an annual subscription and needed to pay up. They insisted that this subscription wouldn’t show up or be removable on the official Amazon site. Then they asked me to download TeamViewer so they could get into my phone and cancel it for me. Seemed pretty dodgy to me!

Got a call from 01275 595322 but when I answered there was nothing but silence and it hung up after about 5 seconds. Sounds like one of those auto diallers trying to find active numbers. I’m bracing myself for a flood of spam or scams soon. Once I figure out who they say they are, I’ll be making a complaint to the TPS.

Got a call the other day but no one picked up, tried again today and someone finally answered after ages. The guy said he was from the building safety office or some official thing and wanted to check my loft insulation for fire risks, said it was a free service. When I asked him which address he needed to inspect, he just cut the call right away. Definitely a scam, best to just ignore these calls.

This morning at about 9:45, I got a call from this number. When I picked up, no one said anything. I waited and even tried twice to get them to say something, but they just stayed silent before hanging up.
