Got a couple of calls from a woman with an Indian accent. The first time, she just dropped the call as soon as I said hi. Then she phoned back and claimed she was from Sky, talking about my internet. I told her my internet provider isn’t Sky at all, but she insisted it didn’t matter because apparently all internet goes through Sky. I couldn’t help but laugh and told her that’s just not true. I then asked straight up what the point of her call was, and guess what? She hung up immediately. Quite funny really.

This lady had a really thick accent, made it pretty tricky to understand what she was saying. Something about "you have six seconds to live", or something along those lines. Honestly, it freaked me out quite a bit so I quickly ended the call.

This number kept ringing me non-stop this morning, about six times starting round 8.20am. They said they were Virgin and mentioned some issue with my broadband. Funny thing is, last week the callers pretended to be from BT, so I wouldn’t be surprised if next week they’ll say they’re from Sky. It's really annoying that they have nothing better to do than bother folks who are just trying to get on with their day.

This morning, I got called 6 times from this number, beginning around 8.20am. They said they were with Virgin and there was some issue with my broadband. A few days back, it was supposedly BT calling, so I guess next week it'll be Sky pretending to be them. Really annoying how these people just waste time bothering folks who are just trying to get on with their day.

I got a call from someone saying they were from BT wanting to test my broadband speed. Seemed off to me because BT can check that themselves without needing to call. The person had a thick Asian accent and the call kept dropping with bad connection. Definitely sounded like they were just reading from a script.

I asked them for the address of their company and my IP address, but they couldn’t tell me either. Once I called them out on it being a scam, they just ended the call.

So I got a call from Sky Broadband saying there was a problem with our router. They told me to log in on any device connected to it so they could "fix" the issue. Honestly, it felt more like they wanted to get into my passwords and maybe swipe info, even banking stuff! Honestly, watch out because some folks might just fall for this trick.
