I got a call from 01275 037335 but all I heard was nothing at all. Very odd!

Like numerous calls I've received lately, this one appeared to be from India. A woman on the line was keen for me to respond to three brief questions. I simply informed her that I don't share personal details over the phone and promptly ended the call. I have a hunch it was a scam attempt.

I received a call from a woman of Asian descent who just launched into a foreign tongue that completely baffled me. I politely informed her that I couldn't grasp what she was saying, to which she unexpectedly apologised and addressed me as Mr Jarvis. Quite amusing, considering my actual surname is Smith! At that point, I decided it was best to hang up.

It baffles me how they can’t grasp a word of English, even when you’re clearly pointing out that they’re nothing but a scam. It’s as if there's a robot on the other end, completely disregarding everything that’s said. Why hasn’t the Telephone Preference Service stepped in to do something about this?

I received a call on the 3rd of June from a number I don't recognise and have never given my phone number out to anyone. I've never encountered this number before, which is why I chose not to answer. I must mention that I'm deaf, so receiving calls is not possible for me anyway. This constant call is becoming quite distressing and really needs to cease entirely.

I received a call from 01275543168 around half past four in the afternoon on the 3rd of June 2019. However, there was nobody on the line when I answered. Quite curious, really.

I just picked up a call from this number, and as soon as I said "Hello", a chap on the other end chuckled and then abruptly ended the call! Quite odd, really!

An individual with an Indian accent introduced himself as John. I replied, “Oh really, that’s quite amusing, carry on then.” He claimed to be calling from Sainsbury's and mentioned I was chosen to receive a voucher. I thought to myself, how peculiar, considering I never provided them with my phone number. So, I promptly blocked those con artists without a second thought. 🤬

This morning at 8:40, I picked up a call from a lady named Jessica, who had quite an Indian accent (I’ve seen that name pop up in other reviews too). She mentioned something regarding benefits in the UK and was trying to reach the homeowner, who was unfortunately not around. Later, the same number buzzed in at 14:55, but I decided against answering it this time.

A right offensive character rang my mum, who's 73, and wouldn’t leave her be. They kept pestering her for her address and when she queried who they were, the foul-mouthed toad told her to ‘bugger off, you silly old coot’. It's absolutely appalling behaviour from these lowlife scoundrels.

If you’ve got a moment to spare, why not entertain their chit-chat a bit since they’re footing the bill? When you’ve had your fill, you could always wrap things up with a cheeky, “Oh, by the way, I’m quite the timewaster!” before you hang up.

I received a call earlier today; however, due to our BT Call Blocker, we only allow numbers that we've pre-approved to get through. It seems they were rather secretive and chose not to identify themselves, nor did they leave a message. Considering the numerous remarks I've seen about this number, I will be adding it to my blocked list without a second thought.

I received a call from a woman with what sounded like an Indian accent, claiming it was regarding some benefits. When I asked her to verify her identity and the organisation she represented, she flatly refused and then abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

This caller wanted me to verify my name, which they clearly already had. They had an Indian accent, and I think they mentioned something about 'consumer internet', but I can't be certain. I kept pressing them for their identity, but they suddenly cut the line! Honestly, what a cheek! They need a good telling off, if you ask me!
