A bloke called me today, the number was 01275-390581, as per the 1471 service. He claimed that my SKY TV subscription had been terminated and asked if I could verify a few details. The issue is, I don’t even have SKY! When I asked him for a contact number, he threw out 01921, which didn’t seem right at all. Then, before I knew it, he just cut the line! Clearly a scam!

The moment we pick up the call, they simply hang up.

Received a call on the 25th of May at 1:09 PM from a young lady inquiring about my SKY TV subscription. Once I clarified that I don’t have a SKY account, she quickly apologised and ended the call. Quite a brief interaction, really!

I received a call from someone claiming that our Sky protection plan was nearing expiration and they needed to arrange a renewal over the phone. I informed the caller that we’re already covered by Sky Protect. They insisted, "Oh yes, we’re aware of that, but that's merely a name on some documents." I clarified that Sky Protect is actually a distinct entity and the only provider recommended by Sky. At this point, the caller abruptly hung up on me. Caution is advised! It seems this organisation was trying to swindle us under false pretenses, which is utterly illegal and should be dealt with. When I tried to return their call, they immediately cut it off.
