It claims to be from HMRC, but I'm pretty convinced it's a scam.

I've had a couple of missed calls from this number over just a few hours. Quite odd, really!

I've been receiving calls from these con artists at all sorts of ungodly hours, waking me up at the crack of dawn. It's not the first time they've tried to get in touch either; they've been persistent, ringing me multiple times!

Rang them back, and what do you know? It was a greeting from the housing claims department! How amusing! 😂

Received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be in Manchester, but I suspect they were really based in India. They were going on about some government debt relief programme. Total scam!

I received a couple of calls from a woman who barely spoke any English. She claimed to represent a debt collection agency but didn’t seem to understand what I was saying. After a brief conversation, she just hung up on me and subsequently blocked my number.

I keep receiving calls from a bloke who says he's with Carphone Warehouse; it feels like he’s been calling non-stop! Eventually, I caved and picked up the phone, only for him to relentlessly push the sale of an iPhone 12. After explaining for the fourth time that I’m perfectly happy with my iPhone 13 Pro, he finally decided to call it a day. Definitely blocking this number!

I've decided to block both numbers, as it feels rather intrusive.

He claimed he was attempting to cut down on expenses. When I probed him about whether it might be a scam, he became quite flustered and insisted it was on the level. The accent gave me the impression it was coming from an Indian call centre.

Received a call from 01275 275025, and it turned out to be a chap from Pakistan posing as our mobile phone service provider. Definitely felt like one of those dodgy cold callers trying to pull a fast one on us. Total scam alert!

In just six hours, I've been hit with five calls from different numbers beginning with 020, 01275, and 0161. It's clear these are all fraudulent attempts. Best to just disregard and block them.

When I informed him that I wasn't one of their patrons, he rudely insisted that I was fibbing and told me to be quiet. It was quite distressing, to say the least. I received a call from someone claiming to be O2, trying to offer me a discount on my mobile bill. The hilarious part is that I'm not even a customer of O2! 😂

I received a call from this number, with the caller alleging they were from HM Revenue and Customs. The tone was incredibly aggressive, insisting that I owed £1,498 in back taxes and that failure to pay would result in a court summons, a hefty fine of £30,000, and even the possibility of a three-year prison sentence. To add to the fear, they claimed my bank accounts and passport would be frozen. When I pressed for their name, the person identified himself as Papa Maa, and supposedly his boss was called Grand Papa, and their contact number was an absurd 100 100 200 3. He claimed I had a mere 45 minutes to secure a criminal lawyer, and when I declined, he threatened that the police were on their way to arrest me. While I'm sure it was a scam, the whole experience has left me quite shaken, and I can only imagine how many others might be genuinely terrified by such intimidation tactics.

Got a call from someone purporting to be from Currys or PC World. They claimed to be collaborating with all the big networks and were trying to offer me a new mobile. However, when I kept probing about which network I was on, he abruptly terminated the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a call from a chap who sounded as if he hailed from India, claiming to be affiliated with Carphone Warehouse. I wasn't even aware that they were still operating! I politely informed him that I had no interest and promptly ended the call.

I've encountered a fraudulent caller masquerading as Car Phone Warehouse, likely from India. I'd highly recommend blocking this number immediately!
