Honestly, just block them (1572 - if you don't have that option, I'd seriously get it). They keep hassling for cash for something the TPS is meant to provide without charge, but with all the annoying calls blowing up my phone since I began working from home, I'm starting to wonder if it really works.

I’ve seen calls from 02093628024 and 01275258449, both from someone saying they’re with TPS or something like that. For now, I’ve been letting the answerphone deal with it. If they keep ringing, I’ll pick up but just leave the phone next to me so they can waste their airtime. I don’t say a word, just let it go on until they hang up. Just got myself a new landline phone with call blocking features, so hopefully that sorts the problem once and for all.

Got three calls yesterday and another three earlier today, couple of times no one answered. The voice sounded Indian. They somehow have my name but I don’t confirm anything, just end the call straight away. Pure scam!

Just about quarter of an hour ago, someone called claiming to be from the TPS, saying they could stop all the annoying calls coming to my phone. They mentioned my YPS deal was ending soon. They rang me twice because I hung up on the first attempt. They seemed to know loads about me - my address, age, how I sort my phone payments, all that. They asked me to confirm a date that was meant to be the expiry on my Visa debit card by checking on the card itself. I didn't go along with it and blocked the number straight away. The TPS really should be told that their data might be at risk.

Got called 8 times within 5 minutes! Picked up the first time and told them I wasn’t interested, but they just kept ringing. I answered two more times to say the same thing, yet they didn’t stop. How hard is it to get the message through to these people?!

Got a couple of calls from 01275258449 within half an hour. The guy on the line had a foreign accent and said he was calling from the TPS. He mentioned my name and used my address from about five years back - I think they’ve got hold of some old data, but my number's stayed the same. He was trying to get me to pay £21.99 for some kind of membership renewal. Obviously, I wasn’t falling for it and refused. I’ve reported it to the real TPS in case their database has been hacked or something.

someone phoned me saying they were from some kind of call blocking service. they said i'd signed up before and if i just updated my info, i'd stop getting all those annoying calls. then they started rattling off my address and claimed i pay my phone bill by direct debit (which i never told them). they even asked if i could confirm a credit card expiry date way back in 2019. i said no thanks and ended the call.

I told him he didn’t sound like he was based in the UK, and since I’m actually signed up with TPA, he’s probably breaking UK rules by ringing me.
