Not sure who’s behind the calls, but the number ending in 699 rang my mum like 8 times in a single day, and another one ending in 664 called her 7 times. Thankfully, back in November 2016 I got her a BT nuisance call blocker for Christmas, so none of those annoying calls made it through. It was really starting to bother her, especially since she struggles with anxiety and depression.

They rang me half a dozen times today but I didn't pick up once. There's another number really close, ending in 699, which I reckon might be linked somehow.

Got a few calls from this number earlier, but I decided to not pick up. After seeing the comments here, I've now gone and blocked it. Be careful and only pick up if you actually recognise the caller - it’s usually some sort of scam trying to trick you into giving away your info.

I got a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service. They were trying to sell me some kind of update to their service. I told them I’d reach out to TPS myself and ended the call.

Had a very similar call today with a guy named "Stephen" who sounded Asian. He said he was from some company trying to put an end to nuisance calls. Asked me to verify my name, address, and then my bank card’s expiry date. I told him I’m not the one paying the bills, so there’s no way he should have my card info. He kept pushing though, so I just hung up. Felt really dodgy to me, but I reckon plenty of people might fall for it!

This number keeps ringing me and claiming to be from Telephone Preference Management. I’ve told them before I don’t want anything and told them to stop ringing, but today alone they’ve called me five times in just a couple hours. Every time the voice sounds like it’s got an Asian accent, which just feels a bit dodgy to me. Didn’t bother answering any of those calls either.

My phone showed it as an international call. They rang me about seven times today, last time at 1:32pm, so I blocked the number. The person had an Asian accent and got quite pushy when I didn’t share any details. They said they were from Telephone Preference Management. so i got a call from someone saying they were lisa watson, a supervisor for telephone preference management, wanting my bank info for some call blocking thing. i played along acting like a daft old lady and honestly, if i really was that naive, i’d have been scammed for sure. they said they couldn't ask directly for bank info but kept pushing me to confirm details they pretended to have. these scammers are just absolute scumbags, proper lowlife stuff.
