I just received a rather alarming automated call purporting to be from 'HMRC'. They were threatening me with prosecution for fraud if I didn’t press 1 to speak to someone who claimed to be an officer from their department. The whole thing felt very shady, like some sort of scam, and honestly, it left me quite unnerved at the thought of being arrested!
