I received a phone call on my mobile where the caller claimed they needed to speak to me directly and even had my name. They introduced themselves as being from the "credit investigation department" and mentioned they were reaching out regarding my credit score, suggesting I was in the process of seeking credit. When I inquired about which company's "credit investigation department" they represented, there was a noticeable pause before the chap abruptly hung up. I suspect this may have been an attempt at phishing, so I’ve gone ahead and reported it to Action Fraud.

Got a call from someone saying they were from "the housing disrepair association" asking if I had issues with damp or any building faults. Once I told them I was renting privately, they just hung up on me. I looked them up online and couldn’t find anything legit. Plus, they rang me even though I’m on the TPS, so doubt they’re trustworthy. Seems like an old scam to me - I’m just blocking and reporting them.

I received a rather suspicious call from an outfit that referred to themselves as "the housing disrepair association." They were inquiring if I had any issues with dampness or structural concerns in my property. However, as soon as I mentioned that I'm a private tenant, they abruptly ended the call. I did a quick online search and couldn't locate any information about them. It's worth noting that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I find it quite dubious that they would contact me in the first place. This smacks of a typical scam, so I’ll be blocking their number and reporting their antics.
