So, this number popped up in a query on our site, asking about parts that honestly don’t add up. They used what looks like a personal email but tried to make it seem like it’s from a proper company, something like ### procurement@gmail[###]. No actual company domain or anything official. When I did a reverse on the phone number, turns out it’s been linked with scams before. Some dodgy characters out there for sure. I kinda wanted to have a bit of fun like Joe Lycett, but no time to waste on that nonsense.

They tried to scam me by ordering IT kit pretending to be the uni of Bradford, but it’s definitely not them.

Proper dodgy this one. Rang that number and got an Asian bloke on the line who barely spoke any English.

Just a heads up, this number has nothing to do with the University of Bradford. If you see it mentioned on any papers or docs, it’s almost certainly a scam. Stay safe!
