Is there anyone else getting calls from this phone number?

Today we received several calls from this number in our offices, a scenario that's become all too familiar as we regularly field similar inquiries from other callers representing insurance companies. Our business lines are essentially relayed to various insurers by our clients, as we act on their behalf to safeguard them from fraudulent practices. Consequently, we end up with a deluge of calls from bewildered customers looking for guidance and support. As a company authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we serve as Insurance Intermediaries. Our primary goal is to shield consumers and policyholders from being misled, ensuring they recover substantial sums that they’re rightfully owed by motor insurers. It's important to note that making unsolicited calls to individuals and small businesses without FCA authorisation for handling motor insurance claims is a serious violation of the law. Despite hefty fines amounting to billions faced by banks and insurers alike for regulatory breaches, many companies have opted to flout these rules by employing unregulated traders and solicitors to bombard innocent, often vulnerable consumers with unsolicited calls. In these instances, misleading, and downright incorrect guidance is often provided, ultimately depriving consumers and SMEs of their rightful claims. This includes issues surrounding vehicle valuations, injury assessments, treatment costs, repair expenses, and so on! Notably, one insurer faced penalties exceeding £36 million for such questionable practices. It seems they believed - much like certain banks have - that the profits gained from misleading clients would overshadow any fines imposed. This has unfortunately led to an environment where insurers routinely disregard consumer rights and engage in unsolicited calling, threatening to blacklist consumers who dare challenge their authority so that they find it difficult to secure insurance coverage again. Such tactics exemplify the convoluted ways consumers are misled by insurers and their dubious associates. It's yet another instance of an insurance scam that continues to persist despite oversight from the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority! For nearly a decade now, this issue has cost consumers an estimated £10-20 billion in losses associated with home, motor, and various other insurance claims! I trust this information proves useful, as it certainly appears that an insurer’s representative might be turning a blind eye to legal standards?

This morning, I received numerous calls from the same chap using this number, and he didn’t bother to introduce himself. He was rather forceful in trying to get me to discuss a motor insurance claim, which has raised my suspicions. It seems like a law firm is bending the rules set out in the FSMA 2000 and SRA guidelines by pestering me with unsolicited calls that disrupt a legitimate claim, all in the name of ensuring the insurer can rake in profits at my expense! I already have a fully authorised Insurance Intermediary by the FCA looking after my interests, who specialises in road traffic collisions and the deceitful practices of insurance companies and their solicitors that seem to be in cahoots! It's outrageous how solicitors can operate outside the law like this!

I've been receiving calls on behalf of my 77-year-old mother from this number, and they just hang up every time! It's absolutely baffling! This persistent behaviour is stressing her out and taking a toll on her health. What on earth is their intention?
