On the morning of 25/7/2018 around 8:58am, I got a call from this number. It was one of those robotic voices, the kind like automated texts sent to landlines. The message claimed to be from BT, saying they’d been trying to reach me for a while. I have an answerphone, but it never recorded any previous calls. They went on about my IP address being at risk in both England and globally, then asked me to press a certain key to talk to someone who could help. I just ignored it and ended the call. Later, I checked with BT’s text messaging service and there was no record of a message for me. Seems like a dodgy scam to me.
