I received a recorded phone call purporting to be from Amazon, which mentioned that a payment had been processed. I promptly hung up as it screamed scam to me. After a bit of investigation using the 1471 service, I discovered the number actually belonged to a local line in Bradford. The digits in question were 01274830544, which clearly has no ties to Amazon whatsoever.
