2 yearsGot a call from some scammer. A robotic voice told me I’d made two payments to Amazon, one for £199 and another big one of £899 for an international transfer. It said to press 1 to confirm or 2 to talk to someone about cancelling. I pressed 1, then a guy answered - sounded Asian but said his name was Alex, which seemed a bit dodgy. I told him I wanted to go ahead with the payments, then he just cut me off. Total scam.
