Safestyle people from Hull turned up at my door yesterday and I said they could come round and give me a quote. Then later on I heard they might be scammers, so I called them to check and they said no, they really are from Hull. I’ve blocked that number but now they’re ringing me from a Bradford one instead. Why has nothing been done to stop this by now?!

Got a call from this number today but luckily no one was home. It's definitely Safestyle - my other half asked for a rough estimate to replace a few windows, but they wouldn’t provide any figures over the phone. They insisted on coming round to discuss it, which he wasn’t up for. Now we keep getting calls non stop from them. I’d steer clear unless you really need your window sorted, and even then, no clue how good their work is.

I naively let them come over for a quote. A woman, who was on her own and didn't speak much English, turned up around 5.30pm. She took some measurements of my living room windows, then somehow sent me a few quotes from different window companies - the cheapest was £3800. She didn't even check the rest of the house or ask about it. I was glad to see the back of her. What they say on the phone beforehand is nothing like the reality. Save yourself the hassle.

Got voicemail left the last two evenings, usually near 7 in the evening. A few weeks ago, Safestyle came by to quote us for a new door, and it was over £2000 for just one! The sales guy was really pushy and full of rubbish. We declined 'cos they were way too pricey, but judging by other comments, reckon it's them calling nonstop now.

I got a call from safestyles about a quote, so I asked if it was some kinda scam. They acted confused and said no. Then a few days after, another person called asking for my name. Why would they need that? I’m not gonna give my info to firms I ain’t familiar with. Pretty sure this is dodgy, plus they’re not meant to send stuff out without permission anyway.

I got a call from safestyles about a quote, and I asked if it was a scam. They seemed confused and said no. Then a few days later, some other telemarketer called asking for my name. Why would they need that? I’m not giving my info to companies I don’t trust. It felt off, like a scam to me, and surely they can’t send stuff out without getting the customer’s okay first.

There was just a lot of background noise and no message left. Had a Safestyle door put in a few weeks back. I’m disabled, so this is really annoying. I do have an answerphone set up but it's switched on long enough to catch calls. I’ll be letting head office know that I won’t be making any more orders. Also, I’m looking after a very poorly child who needs peace and quiet, not constant annoying phone calls disturbing them.

What a nightmare this company is. When I checked my voicemail, all I could hear was a bunch of noise - loads of people laughing, music playing, and voices chatting away in the background. Looks like they’re just wasting their staff’s time by having them mess about and bother folks. Bet if I’d picked up, they’d be telling me I’d been in some accident that wasn’t even my fault.

This number calls me like 5 times daily. Ive put it down as a nuisance so I just ignore it now. Every time they leave a weird garbled message or just noise from some call centre background. Yeah, their sales lot are proper pests… always ringing me up even after I clearly tell them, “I’m not interested in buying anything else, please take me off your list.” They say, “Alright, no problem,” but I reckon they do nothing at all and just have a good laugh about it. These days when they phone, I just mess about to waste their time - like saying, “Hang on a minute,” then leaving the phone unattended for ages. Or I find other silly ways to keep them hanging on. Seems to be working though, as the calls have slowed right down. I’ve also reported them to the ombudsman. I reckon you’ve gotta fight fire with fire. Safestyles’ tactics are rubbish and they know it. Proper lowlifes.

We requested a quote for 9 windows and a single door. The initial price was over £16,000. We were just taken aback. Then the guy said, "Remember, there's a 55% discount," and dropped the price to a bit less than £8,000. We let them know our budget, and he looked at us like he couldn't believe it. In the end, we found another company that did the windows within our budget.

First time they said it would be £1600 for a back door, then after a quick chat with their “office” they dropped the price to £1100. That really set off alarm bells, so we just showed the guy the front door and closed it firmly on him. Now it feels like we’re getting hounded, and blocking the number doesn’t seem to stop them.

Safe style turned up to give me a quote for a door, they started at over £3,000 but eventually dropped it to around £1,400. They stayed way too long and pushed really hard sales tricks, even though I told them I wasn't interested! Super pushy, and they even fibbed about where the door was made, which clearly it wasn’t. Safe Style Windows seemed alright at the start, but they turned out to be total pests. They kept ringing me nonstop, day and night, and wouldn’t stop until I agreed to buy something. When I told them to stop calling, they just laughed it off and dialled even more. I honestly regret getting mixed up with them - something just didn’t feel right, so I backed out. Since then, they’ve been relentless. My advice? Don’t ever open the door to them or hand over any contact info. They even had the cheek to send someone round to my house after I said no and asked them not to contact me again. Proper nightmare.
