Safestyle people from Hull turned up at my door yesterday and I said they could come round and give me a quote. Then later on I heard they might be scammers, so I called them to check and they said no, they really are from Hull. I’ve blocked that number but now they’re ringing me from a Bradford one instead. Why has nothing been done to stop this by now?!

Got a call from this number today but luckily no one was home. It's definitely Safestyle - my other half asked for a rough estimate to replace a few windows, but they wouldn’t provide any figures over the phone. They insisted on coming round to discuss it, which he wasn’t up for. Now we keep getting calls non stop from them. I’d steer clear unless you really need your window sorted, and even then, no clue how good their work is.

I naively let them come over for a quote. A woman, who was on her own and didn't speak much English, turned up around 5.30pm. She took some measurements of my living room windows, then somehow sent me a few quotes from different window companies - the cheapest was £3800. She didn't even check the rest of the house or ask about it. I was glad to see the back of her. What they say on the phone beforehand is nothing like the reality. Save yourself the hassle.

Got voicemail left the last two evenings, usually near 7 in the evening. A few weeks ago, Safestyle came by to quote us for a new door, and it was over £2000 for just one! The sales guy was really pushy and full of rubbish. We declined 'cos they were way too pricey, but judging by other comments, reckon it's them calling nonstop now.

I got a call from safestyles about a quote, so I asked if it was some kinda scam. They acted confused and said no. Then a few days after, another person called asking for my name. Why would they need that? I’m not gonna give my info to firms I ain’t familiar with. Pretty sure this is dodgy, plus they’re not meant to send stuff out without permission anyway.

I got a call from safestyles about a quote, and I asked if it was a scam. They seemed confused and said no. Then a few days later, some other telemarketer called asking for my name. Why would they need that? I’m not giving my info to companies I don’t trust. It felt off, like a scam to me, and surely they can’t send stuff out without getting the customer’s okay first.

There was just a lot of background noise and no message left. Had a Safestyle door put in a few weeks back. I’m disabled, so this is really annoying. I do have an answerphone set up but it's switched on long enough to catch calls. I’ll be letting head office know that I won’t be making any more orders. Also, I’m looking after a very poorly child who needs peace and quiet, not constant annoying phone calls disturbing them.

What a nightmare this company is. When I checked my voicemail, all I could hear was a bunch of noise - loads of people laughing, music playing, and voices chatting away in the background. Looks like they’re just wasting their staff’s time by having them mess about and bother folks. Bet if I’d picked up, they’d be telling me I’d been in some accident that wasn’t even my fault.

Oh, absolutely, their sales chaps are like pesky flies, aren’t they? They keep ringing me up even though I've made it crystal clear each time that I have zero intention of purchasing anything further. I’ve told them repeatedly, “Please take my details and number off your database.” They always respond with a chirpy “Of course!” but I’m convinced they just chuckle to themselves behind the scenes. Nowadays, when they call, I’ve resorted to having a bit of fun at their expense. I’ll pretend to be busy, saying things like, “Hang on a sec, will you?” and then I’ll just let the phone dangle for ages, or come up with silly diversions. Seems to be doing the trick as the frequency of their calls is on the decline. Plus, I've submitted a complaint to the relevant ombudsman as well. It’s all about fighting fire with fire! Their sales tactics are absolutely abysmal, and they are well aware of it. Total scoundrels, if you ask me!

Then the guy said, "Remember, there's a 55% discount," and dropped the price to a bit less than £8,000. We let them know our budget, and he looked at us like he couldn't believe it. Safe Style Windows are nothing short of relentless. At first, they seem all charming and professional, but soon enough, they turn into your worst nightmare with incessant calls from dawn till dusk. It's as if they won't rest until you finally relent and purchase something. When you plead with them to cease their calls, they chuckle as if it’s some sort of joke, only to bombard you with more calls. I foolishly got myself wrapped up with this lot, but I had a strong hunch not to carry on with them, and now they just won’t let me be. My advice? Absolutely avoid opening your door to them and under no circumstances should you share your contact details. They've even sent a representative to my home after I explicitly told them no and requested not to be contacted anymore!
