I got a call on my landline from an automated voice claiming someone was using my internet in Manchester. Then, a woman came on and said she had to ring me back on my mobile because apparently there was a £600 transaction being made using my internet. She asked for my mobile number, but I just ended the call. Moments later, she rang me back from a different number apologising about a technical problem. I told her there was no problem and hung up on her. She hasn’t contacted me since then.
