They’ve been ringing me incessantly, four times in just ten minutes! Each call greets me with nothing but silence, and then I hear this woman’s voice saying “Goodbye” after about ten seconds. It’s a right nuisance, especially when they kick off their antics before I've even had a chance to crawl out of bed. It happens at least four times a week, and I’m beyond frustrated!

Got a call at like 10:15 on 03/01/17. The person already knew my name and postcode, and asked if my washing machine from Hotpoint was alright. I told them it was fine but honestly, I don’t even know if it’s a Hotpoint! Then they just said ‘bye’ and hung up. Strange!

I've been getting these weird silent calls from 01274 549084 lately. I asked my phone provider to look into it and apparently it’s linked to a car dealership. Bit fishy if you ask me, why would a car dealer from Bradford be ringing me out here in the West Country? Sounds like one of those scams. I’ve added a call blocker so hopefully that’ll put an end to it, but I’m still holding out hope they’ll just stop bothering me soon.

When I answer I just stay quiet. If it’s a scam call, I act like I’m doing everything they say, like switching on my laptop and all that. Maybe if loads of people mess around with them like that, they’ll give up eventually.

I noticed a missed call from this number on Sunday, 17th December 2017 at about 9:28am. Then today around 10:20am, I decided to pick up when they rang again, but all I got was silence for a bit before the call just dropped. When I tried calling back, a recorded message came up saying the number wasn’t recognised. I’ve heard this might be some kind of scam, but why is it so hard to track this number down?

Got two calls on Saturday 16th Dec from a number I didn’t know. I picked up the first time and they just dropped the call. Five minutes later, they rang again, but by then I’d already checked and found out it was some annoying telemarketer from Bradford. When I answered the second time, I didn’t hang about - just put the phone down straight away!

Someone called saying they were from Microsoft, but used an email that was totally wrong and claimed I had registered Windows 10 there. It was clear they wanted me to let them on my PC to fix some ‘issue’. They told me my Windows 10 wasn’t working right - funny, seems like these scammers aren’t working right themselves!

Got a call from "Microsoft support" at this number, and somehow they knew my wife's name. She handed me the phone, and I straight up asked who they were. Told the bloke they didn't have a clue and advised him to find a real job before I hung up. I’ve just received a rather peculiar call from this number. A gentleman on the line asked, "Am I speaking with [my name]?" When I confirmed it was me, he proceeded to mention he was from the [unintelligible] Department and then inquired, "How are you?" However, when I asked him to clarify which Department he represented, he suddenly disconnected! Quite odd, I must say!
