I had a ring from this number earlier. An automated voice chimed in claiming to be from HMRC, warning me that if I didn’t press 1, a warrant for my apprehension would be issued. Naturally, I hung up right away. In my opinion, it’s simply not credible for any official body to call and issue threats of arrest like that just to get you to press a button. It reeks of a scam!
