Got a call that was definitely trying to scam me.

My elderly mum got a call from these lot claiming she had £2500 PPI compensation linked to some loan with Halifax back in 2005. They told her Halifax sent in an application for her and asked for her bank info to send the £2500. It was me who picked up thankfully, and I knew straight away she’s never taken out a loan before. When I told them that, they just hung up on me. I’m certain this number is nothing but a scam.

Got a call from this number with a Bradford area code, but they didn’t leave any voicemail. Tried looking it up online but couldn’t find anything, and I don’t know anyone from Bradford either. Feels a bit like a spam call to me.
