I got a call from this property auction company linked to Reed Rains. If your place has been on the market for ages, they'll push you towards selling it through their ‘modern auction’ system. Thing is, they want to charge you £5000 plus VAT, even if it’s a low-priced property. Considering most high street estate agents charge less than a grand to sell your home, it's worth thinking twice before signing up. Just my two cents!
