She said her name was Rachel and actually had a proper English accent, which was different from most calls. The accent matched the Bradford area code she was calling from. Then she got on about doing a survey in my street - except it wasn’t my current street, but an old address I used to live at. When I pointed that out, she just said sorry and ended the call. Didn’t bother telling me which company she was working for.

This number incessantly rings my father-in-law's home during the afternoons, particularly around lunchtime, repeatedly inquiring about his late wife, who departed this world eight years ago. When my wife, rather compassionately, informed them about her passing, they dismissed her with disbelief, insisting she was lying, before abruptly terminating the call. I had an encounter with them myself a couple of years back, and I responded with, "I’m terribly sorry, mate, I shall ensure her name is removed from our list," all while having a bit of a laugh. However, just as I began to say "Yes, please," as my wife’s family have been quite upset by these persistent calls, they cut off the line! Such despicable behaviour! I sincerely hope there’s a way to hold them accountable. Cheers!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a chap named "Richard" about a "heat loss assessment" that I most definitely did NOT schedule. Strangely enough, he had both my name and address, which I didn't bother to confirm as I was more curious about the origin of his call. I pressed him twice for the name of the company he represented, but he danced around the question, insisting it must have been some sort of mix-up. Out of sheer curiosity, I tried to ring back afterwards, but when I masked my number, I discovered that the line was out of service. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I politely informed the caller that I wasn't interested, to which he retorted, “Is that because you’re a plonker?” and promptly hung up. Quite the charming interaction!
