7 yearsI got a call from an automated voice claiming £600 was about to be taken from my bank account and to press 1 if I hadn’t approved it. I hung up and called the number back. It went to an answering machine. I left a message asking who had called me and told them to get back to me straight away. Then I got another call from the same number, but this time a woman with a heavy foreign accent told me she didn’t know why I’d called. I said I was going to inform the police but she just stayed silent.
