Today, I nearly fell victim to a scam after receiving an automated call from someone saying they were from HMRC, accusing me of tax fraud. They asked me to hit 1 to speak to someone straight away. I was about to press it, feeling really stressed, but then I recalled reading about these types of scams on the internet. So I looked it up and turns out it was a scam after all! So glad I didn’t get tricked.
