Got a recorded call pretending to be from HMRC, telling me to hit "1" to speak to someone about some supposed fraud case linked to me. They warned that if I don’t press "1", they’d issue a warrant and have me arrested. The whole thing sounded super threatening but clearly a scam. I’ve sent an email reporting it to HMRC at [email protected].
