Somebody rang me up about getting a refund on my MBNA settlement. I told them I didn’t recall ever receiving a settlement, so I asked what amount they were talking about? Then the call just dropped.

kept callin but never left any voicemail. shows up as something like size? bit odd really, didn’t pick up any of the calls anyway.

This number keeps ringing me non-stop and I just don't pick up because it sounds familiar from past scams. It's beyond me why the so-called officials haven't shut down these fraudsters yet. HMRC doesn't seem bothered at all, even though money is obviously being exchanged. If taxes should be paid, then tax evasion is definitely against the law.

I got a call regarding a PPI claim I supposedly made, but I haven’t received any payment yet! They started asking for personal info like my National Insurance number, which felt suspicious. I ended the call then and there and told them to call back later since I wasn’t sure about it.

so the call was from some firm linked to ppi claims. some foreign guy, quite polite actually, rang while i was out so told him to ring me again later. id made a ppi claim before and it got sorted, but now they’re trying to get back income tax on the payout i got. i’m definitely gonna block any more calls from them. you can’t be too careful these days. better to lose a bit of cash than risk getting my bank account messed with.
