I rang back and some bloke called Ayyaz answered, saying he was a Customer Relationship manager, which sounded totally made up. Turns out its just a dodgy call centre with people who are really sexist and racist. Definitely not what I expected!

Definitely a scam, no doubt about it. I don’t even have a water bill or live anywhere near Yorkshire. It might have been Yorkshire Water’s number once, but now it’s just being used to trick people. Totally fake.

Today, round about 7.30 pm on 16th Nov, I got a odd phone call where someone was asking, in a sort of confusing manner, if I wanted to keep using the free service from Yorkshire Water for emergencies. I told them yes. It all seemed quite dodgy to me though. Why on earth would Yorkshire Water ring so late in the evening? Really gave me the creeps.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Currys PC World working with EE, which is who I’m with for my phone. As soon as I heard him, I knew he was dodgy. He was trying to push me to buy an iPhone 14 Pro or something like that. What was weird is the number showed up as Moira Pizzeria when I checked. When I asked about that, he just went off on a sales spiel. Honestly, if this number rings you, just block it straight away!

got a text on Tuesday 30th July 2019 at 14:17 saying “missed call: someone tried to ring you at 14:17 on 30th july but didn’t leave a voicemail.” the number showed up as +44 1274 250549 on my phone. when i looked at my call log, there wasn’t any missed call from that number. seems like it might be a bait message trying to get you to call back. 01274 is an area code for Bradford.
