The person on the line had my complete name and used it while speaking to me. He said he was from "Domestic Energy". However, as soon as I began to probe a bit deeper with my inquiries, he ended the call abruptly. He certainly gave off the vibe of a scammer.

I had no clue who it might be, so I ended up hanging up and using 1471 to check the number. I live round Bradford and noticed I’ve never seen a number that begins with ‘a’ right after the area code before. Seems a bit odd to me.

Got a call from someone named Barry, but I couldn’t catch what he said at first, so I asked him to say it again. After that, he started sounding quite patronising and mentioned something about energy efficiency checks happening nearby soon. I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Feels like it was probably a scam to me.

As soon as my answering machine with the security message kicked in, the person on the other end just dropped the call. Went ahead and blocked their number straight away.

I got a call from this number but when I picked up there was nothing on the other end, just complete quiet. After a bit of silence, I heard some strange sounds before the person hung up. Very odd!
